The Anger Reset Retreat: How to feel better, not bitter
with Jessica
About This Event
Anger is one of the most painful and destructive of the delusions, and it affects our mind probably everyday, in one way or another. When we’re angry we can’t relax, see things clearly, connect to others, or enjoy our life—period.
According to Buddha, anger is actually a response to our own painful feelings, which in turn arise whenever we meet difficult circumstances. And in fact, those painful feelings depend on our own mistaken expectations, coming from distorted views and beliefs.
So now we know the problem.
In this retreat, Jess will introduce some simple, time-honored, and wise Buddhist teachings and meditations on how to transform anger (not reject it) and embrace life with more openness, flexibility, and lightness of touch. Everyone is welcome - beginners and experienced practitioners!
