About This Series
The meditation known as Taking and Giving, in Tibetan "tonglen", has been used for centuries as a healing meditation. Not only is this meditation legendary for its physical healing properties, it is also a powerful method for healing painful mental tendencies such as insecurity, anger and hurt. Taking and Giving practice yields innumerable benefits, including boosting positive energy, purifying the mind, and, in particular, enabling us to deal skillfully and peacefully with our daily challenges. The teachings and meditations are based on Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s book The New Meditation Handbook, Alexandra will guide us through the 21 meditations, step by step, that comprise the stages of the path to enlightenment.
No previous experience necessary. Everyone is welcome.
